All rooms were impeccably clean.
Had amazing breakfasts with espresso. The best thing was how polite and pleasant the staff were. The setting was magnificent, adjacent to the leafy garden and quiet location after a day in Venice, and public transport.

This hotel is conveniently located 1 km away from an annual film festival. 300 metres are distance to a restaurant. The rooms are quiet and bright with the garden, a balcony, as example.

We have stayed in this wonderful small hotel for 4 nights, everything was excellent, the location was excellent convenient to get to the water bus stops. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and central heating, a work desk and a satellite TV in the suite.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. After a long day of travel, we really appreciated the assistance with our heavy bags upon arrival. The breakfast was great with fresh fruits and delicious coffee. Additionally, the location was convenient as it was on an island with easy access to transportation and dining options.
Nothing not to like.

It was a charming small and fantastic hotel in a really quiet area, next to vaparetto stop or the main street of shops, restaurants and cafes. Also, location was incredible, just 5 minutes walk from Lido. The rooms were both nicely decorated, comfy, complete with a balcony, a terrace plus the garden. Perfect service offered in this venue.
Couldn’t fault.

Great breakfast! Really nice people. Offered bicycles and umbrellas for free. Quiet neighborhood. Nice patio area.
We stayed in a small attic room. No window, only a skylight. Was small and not comfortable. Bed was 2 twin mattresses in a queen frame. Lido is about 35 minutes by boat into main city. So some travel time involved.

It is very nice, clean and quite place, where to stay if you visiting Venice. Close to Lido S.M.E. vaporetto station (5 min. Walk) and only 10 min. To San Marco by vaporetto which leaves very often, even in night time. Easy reachable from airport. Marina and Alessandro are very welcoming and you really feel like staying at friends house. Breakfast is great and you can get real italian caffe in the morning. Good place where to come back :)

Fantastic Villa,Excellent Loacation..On arrival they greeted us ,explained what was to do in the area,1st class information.couldnt do enough for you,the villa was very quiet ( you could have heared a pin drop at night) very peaceful!,the breakfasts were self serve all fresh and plenty of it..lots to see and do in the fantastic town 2min walk away, the beach is something else,5min walk, like a scene from miami beach!fantastico! The water taxis are 5min walk, you can get to anywhere in Venice from here. All I can say it was a very memorable stay at the villa Casanova,so helpful, never will be forget,Thank you to hosts Marina & Alexandro..
If you had something to complain about the Villa Casonova you would have to have something wrong with you...theres nothing to complain about? And even if there was they are the sort of people that would correct it straightaway.....you would have to go a long way to try and match the service and hospitality of this villa..

Alessandro is a lovely guy who went out of his way to help us. Breakfasts were simple but nice and just enough. The room was very nice and had a lot of character, the bathroom was nice and the shower was hot and powerful. He even let us use 2 of the 6 or 7 bikes that are at the back of the hotel to go for a ride round the Lido on our last day, while keeping our bags in reception. He gave us the key and just told us to drop them back later in the day.
The only minor inconvenience is that it is a 15 min boat ride into Venice, but that is only minor as the boats are every 15 mins and its a lovely ride.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The fresh fruits and pastries were definitely the best aspects. The location of the place was perfect, just a few steps away from the ferry and yet the area was quiet. we appreciated the availability of bikes.
There were a couple of negative aspects during our stay. The outlets were not standard, so we had some trouble charging our devices.
